Back on my feet

Suffering from a stomachache is not the best way to start your day--and neither is suffering from a fever at the exact same time your stomach is attempting to kill you. I've been lying in my bed for the entire day yesterday trying to bring my fever down, and trying to make my stomach stop trying to kill me--all in all, it wasn't an easy attempt.

I had to make two trips to the bathroom to barf my guts out--but of course, you guys didn't need to know that.

I have a very weak stomach so if I eat anything that wasn't cooked well, or prepared well I'd probably end up puking my guts out and ending up in a hospital. So technically speaking, yesterday was a close call. Had I not consumed copious amounts of water I would have just probably ended up flat on my back in a hospital--which would drive me insane.

Luckily, I just drank lots of water--and some foul tasting tea (which resulted in me puking my guts out)--and lying down like a fish in my bed. I was so dizzy that whenever I had to get up to get a glass of water, or anything I needed, I thought the world was spinning beneath my feet and I was going insane. I was thinking: "this is what it probably feels like when the boat you are riding is freaking tossing about at sea..."

I looked horrible yesterday--like a ten-wheeler just rammed me and a group of stampeding pigs just trampled me. It was that horrible. It was a good thing I did not have classes yesterday--or else that would have been the death of me. I hate missing classes for the crummy reason that I happen to be sick.

I'm guessing that  falling sick is probably the culmination of all the stress that I've been feeling for the past two weeks--exams, board of representative duties, thesis, fanfics. It's enough to drive someone to the brink of deliriousness. (is that even a word?)

So when I woke up this morning--my fever's gone--the first thing I did was take a very long bath! (yey!) and then I had breakfast, read the morning paper (which had nothing bloody interesting on it), practiced my violin and my piano (my fingers were stiff) and finally, going online to DL stuff and check my communities (the ones I joined). I'm currently viewing [info]fransyung's LJ entry on the Kuroshitsuji Artbook. My college friend hana-chan would really adore this. She's into Kuroshitsuji at the moment and has been telling me to watch the show. (wish I could...but can't find the episodes on youtube.com)

Well, I ought to be off. I can feel a new series of cramps on my back. :D

Glory days

I have been going up and down the net these past few days. For days I've been complaining that nothing exciting ever happens to me. Well guess again. I was surfing around the net, minding my own business and checking out potential CDs to look out for at the local anime shop near my place--and surprise, surprise! I bump into this:

Apparently, it's the La Corda D'oro ~primo passo~ Classic Collection White Day Edition CD. Unfortunately, there was no track listing, but who cares? Seeing the CD made me go bonkers and caused me half a dozen grins. If you want to check it out, here's the link: www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html. Shipping usually takes them 3-7 days. I'm going to try and get myself a copy. :D But part about it? The price is tax inclusive, so you don't have to pay additional.

This is simply the best. Hope you guys enjoy it too! (30)
